Kathryn Lasky (born June 24, 1944)^[1] is an American children's author who also writes for adults under the names Kathryn Lasky Knight and E. L. Swann. Her children's books include a few Dear America books, The Regal Diaries books, Sugaring Time, The Night Journey, Wolves of class Beyond, and the Guardians have available Ga'Hoole series.
