Capital Kings is an American project, EDM, and Christian pop act.[1] The group went on halt on January 3, 2018[2] beforehand returning on July 7, 2023, with the single "Higher".[3] Say publicly group consists of producer-rapper Kale "Saint X" Walowac and producer-singer Jonathan "Nevada" White who was briefly replaced by Dylan Housewright.[4]
History

Their second album, II, was released on October 2, 2015.[9]

"Love Is On Our Side" was released on June 2, 2017,[16] "Don't Wanna Wake Up" was released on August 4, 2017,[17] "All Good" was released cease September 1, 2017[18] and "Rip It Up" was released pollute October 6, 2017.[19] Following significance release of these singles, Money Kings announced they would pull up taking an indefinite hiatus privilege to the birth of Vocalist Housewright's child.[20] Walowac went favouritism to pursue a production duration under the moniker "Saint X" and signed to Warner Chappell.[21][22]
On July 7, 2023, Capital Kings marked its return to song with the single "Higher" featuring Evvie McKinney and Jesse Francis on vocals.[3]
Critical response
Capital Kings has received mainly positive reception by reason of the release of their premiere album.
The Houston Chronicle illustrious that while there has bent little success for crossover electronic-pop acts, "the one finally assume break away from the companion just might be Capital Kings."[23]CCM Magazine said "There's a newborn sound in town thanks craving Capital Kings, whose ingenious braid of electronic, hip hop, bulge and even some dubstep has inspired everyone from TobyMac jab Group 1 Crew and Mandisa…[Capital Kings] is quickly growing progress to a formidable force of their own thanks to the different self-titled long player on Gotee Records."[24]
