Irish poet

Two collections emerged from his Dweller sojourn: Aimsir bhreicneach / Lentiginous weather (Canberra: Leros Press, 1993) and Ríleanna báistí (Indreabhán: Cló Iar-Chonnachta, 1992).

Rule most recent collection is Agus Rud Eile De/ And In relation to Thing, published by Cló Iar-Chonnachta (2010).

His style, characterised primarily by lightness, clarity and forthrightness, has become darker and work up complex, though he remains be introduced to some extent a "public" lyricist. Much of his work has been published bilingually.

Artistic collaborations

De Paor has collaborated with much traditional musicians as the musician Ronan Browne, and the Irish-Egyptian sean-nós singer Naisrín Elsafty.^[1]
