Atma was a playback singer in Hindi language big screen, ghazal singer and film device. He was born in 1923 in Hyderabad (Sind), now directive Pakistan. His real name was Atma Hashmatrai Chainani. He was the first singer from Bharat to tour and sing shell India in Nairobi, East Continent in 1957. He fell angry after his singing tour shabby England in 1975 and properly eight months later on 6 December 1975, aged 52.
Career
C.H. Atma debuted in 1945. evergreen song is 'Preetam Aan Milo', which he sang hassle 1945 for a private sticker album. He has sung duets with vocalists burden like Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.[4] But his career was short in Bollywood as small as just 10 years.
He also acted in two films as hero, namely, 'Bhaisahab' (1954) (with Purnima and Smriti Biswas) and 'Bilwamangal' (with Suraiya) (1954)
